Sarracenia flava var. rugelii

This naturally occurring variety is a stunning plant with contrasting colors. The throat of the pitcher turns blood red while the rest of the pitcher is yellow green. The red coloration fades into speckles up the lid and down the mouth of the pitcher. It’s no wonder it’s sometimes referred to as the ‘cut throat pitcher plant’. New pitchers are lime green turning yellowish as they mature. A unique and must have variety that is sure to impress!
